How does AI enhancement work?
LumaSnap AI uses advanced on-device processing powered by Apple's Core Image and Vision frameworks. All enhancements including upscaling, face detection, and background removal happen directly on your iPhone — no internet required, and your photos never leave your device.
What's included in the free version?
The free version includes Auto Enhance, Denoise, Sharpen, and 6 basic filters (Vivid, Warm, Cool, B&W, Dramatic, Soft). You can import, edit, and save photos without any limitations on these features.
What does LumaSnap Pro include?
LumaSnap Pro unlocks AI Upscale (2x & 4x), Face Enhancement, Background Removal, Old Photo Restoration, and 12+ premium filters. You can start with a 7-day free trial.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your iPhone to manage or cancel your LumaSnap Pro subscription. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I restore my purchases?
Go to the Settings tab in LumaSnap AI and tap "Restore Purchases." This will sync your subscription status with the App Store.
Are my photos sent to the cloud?
No. All processing is 100% on-device. Your photos never leave your iPhone. We have zero access to your images.
What image quality is supported?
LumaSnap AI works with photos of any resolution. For upscaling, we use Lanczos resampling with post-processing sharpening for the best possible results. Export options include High (JPEG 95%), Maximum (PNG), and Standard (JPEG 80%).
